Ik ben deze week eens in een server lokaal geweest waar er virtuele servers staan.
Ja watte...
2 gigantische airco toestellen om een ruimte van 50m³ te koelen.
Om dan nog maar te zwijgen over al die ventilatoren...

Maar buiten die 250 dualcore servers, die per 1000 mensen nodig zijn.
Moet je ook nog een client hebben en die dingen vreten ook stroom.
Dus ik heb hier en daar zo wel mijn twijfels.

Die clients kunnen thin-clients zijn, die gebruiken zo goed als geen stroom. Maar ik vraag het me idd ook af. De tijd zal het leren :)
