Hallo,ik heb helemaal geen ervaring met HTML en loop in het beginstadium nu vast. Ik heb in mijn teksteditor(ik werk met ibook van Mac) de 6 tags. Dit heb ik opgeslagen. Maar als ik de homepage nu bekijk dan krijg ik geen 'blanco' page te zien. De 6 tags (<HTML>etc) staan op de page. Ook als ik een BODY tag wil invoeren(kleurcode), dan krijg ik de code te zien op mijn homepage en niet de kleur.

Ik probeer de homepage te bouwen aan de hand van:

Heeft iemand hier het antwoord op. Het is vast iets heel eenvoudigs.

de texteditor van apple neem ik aan? bn je zeker dat je het opslaat als index.html en niet als index.html.RTF

en je kan voor scripten beter een editor gebruiken die ervoor gemaakt is, deze hebben meer mogelijkheden.
helaas zij de betere editors voor de mac betaald(ben zelf ook macer), als je wil betalen raad ik textmate aan.
en de gratis, maar met minder mogelijkheden taco html edit of smultron ;)

Bedankt voor je reactie!

Ik gebruik nu van NeoOffice de 'Writer/Web' . Ik geloof dat dit in principe goed zou moeten gaan. Toch blijven mijn tags zichtbaar in mijn browser, mijn homepage...

Weet iemand hier raad mee?

zorg dat de extensie .html is, en niet .html.txt oid.
